Other Details to Note
• Please note that the entire property is surrounded by small and medium-sized wood chips. • There is a gravel walkway leading to the front door. • The path to the fire pit is a steep, short hill down (approximately 50 feet). • 2 indoor fire extinguishers can be found under the sink. 1 exterior fire extinguisher is hung on a beam under the deck. • You may hear a whooshing water sound around midnight a couple times a week, this is just the water softener in the basement running a scheduled cleaning cycle. It’s completely normal and only lasts a few minutes. • If you booked your stay during the winter months, please note that we have provided a shovel and container of ice melt under the deck to the left of the first set of stairs. An ice scraper is conveniently located inside the front door for your use. Our snow removal team will clear the driveway during your stay, depending on the snowfall amount. •The L.L. Bean flagship store is currently undergoing a transformative $50 million renovation. Dubbed the "Freeport Experience", the remodel is aimed to create a more immersive shopping environment for Freeport visitors. While scheduled for completion fall of 2026, L.L. Bean is OPEN. A notable addition is "Camp L.L. Bean", a 28,000 sqft climate controlled tent serving as a temporary retail space for all apparel and outerwear.
